Frequently asked questions.

How often do you release your beadwork?

As often as I can, honestly. I work full-time as a photojournalist and beadwork is my creative outlet. Now that I have this website I will attempt to keep it stocked as often I can.

Can non-Indigenous folks wear your work?

Absolutely you can. Supporting and appreciating the art of Indigenous folks is appreciated here. The jewelry I make is designed for everyone, everywhere. I do ask that you please continue to educate yourself on what appropriation in Indigenous communities is and how it impacts us.

I have a repair for a pair I purchased from you what can I do?

I create items to last a long time and if you are needing a repair please get in contact with me. I have confidence in the pieces I design but life does happen, if a repair is needed within 30 days of purchase the entire cost is on me, I will pay for shipping and the repair however if the purchase has been made after 30 days I ask that you cover shipping to me and a small fee for materials.

I have sensitive ears and am worried about the weight of earrings.

I created my work because I have extremely sensitive ears and cannot wear most jewelry. I have worked hard over the years to properly source metals in my findings and lightweight beads however I cannot guarantee everyone can wear my work. Know what you can and cannot handle and trust yourself.

I have also added the weight of earrings in OZ and Grams in each listing.

I am interested in a custom-made piece of your work, how do I do that?

I love custom orders, however, I do recognize they take me quite a while to complete. I will open spaces for custom orders when I feel like I have time.

For a custom order, I require a full payment made initially in order to start working on the requested item. It will generally take me 3-4 weeks to complete but I will be in communication during the process. My most successful custom orders happen when the customer requesting has faith in my sense of color and ability.

I will absolutely not copy another beadwork artist’s work.
